Berwick Wall from x to z

Back from a short visit to see Mum in Law down in Canvey Island.

We continue our walk along Berwick wall.
here's the info and we are walking from X to Z on this post.

We follow the wall behind the houses and walk up slightly, take your time , no need to rush, dont want you out of breath at the top.lol.

As we take a breather just look left and that tree and just below is the remains of a look-out.

We now follow this path,
on the left we see the Barracks ----
but first lets just run up this bank to the right and see --

Ah, here we see the Light house and way off we see Holy Island...

This is the Barracks.
and if we just drop down the grass hump over there we see ---

The steps from the Barracks to the sea front going under the path that we are walking.

To be continued.

Looks like we've covered a couple of miles in a few seconds. Who needs time travel!

I'm glad you're back.
I'm enjoying our walk along the wall. The view of the lighthouse and island is wonderful. The barracks are very impressive.
