Santa's Dilemma Poem.

SANTA’S  DILEMMA

Christmas eve and sledge packed with gifts,
Santa and his Elves set off in snowy drifts,
To deliver games and toys,
For all good little girls and boys.
-----------------------
In and out of windows and chimney pots,
Santa leaves gifts for Children and Tiny Tots,
Having a quick drink and a mince-pie,
Helps him on his way through the night sky.
---------------------
Then half way through their trip,
Santa heard an almighty rip,
His trousers had ripped front to back,
Due to a broken toy sticking out from a sack.
-----------------------
Now a quick detour Santa had to take,
So another toy could the good Fairies could make,
Also a visit to the good Fairy Queen,
As a stitch in time saved his underwear from being seen.

Saturday walk in Grantham (2)

Posted by PicasaPart 2 of Saturday walk around Grantham, on the 1st pic we see the White Bridge - the entrance to the park and pic 2 - we see another snow laden tree.
After the park we start to walk home - but before we get home, we take a walk through Granthams Market and its stalls, and what better stall to show you, is the Fresh baked bread stall, beautiful aroma wafts around and you cannot help but buy a loaf or 2......Now we know where the saying " use your loaf" comes from. lol.

Saturday walk around snowy Grantham (1)

Here we are in Wyndham Park,Grantham by the side of the River Witham and St.Wulframs church in the background.
As we turn to the right -we see the snow up on the tree's bark, after the snow blizzard from last night.
A few steps along and turn right once more and we find the children's paddling pool and if you sit on the bench, you will have wet pants.(so, dont park yourself here)
Just a stroll to the path among the trees and
we find ourselves on Lloyd Ramsden Walk.
