Yes, that is what we call it. Soup with vegetables is "Vegetable Soup" and one of the ingredients is beef or stew meat. Without that it is only so-so and not the prize winning stuff Patty makes.

The lamp looks like one of the old antique shades my one daughter collects. I forget what they are called but they are valuable. I like the extra things you trimmed it with.

I wish I could see more of the painting.
