Just Jane.

Just Jane - with a make-over with the Texturizer Filter.

Just Jane = 1 of just 17 Lancaster Bombers known left in the World two of which are still airborn, one in the UK and the other in Canada.

Just Jane one of the 17 is based at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire, which just taxies up and down the runway, giving rides to the public.

It's good to know that these historic planes are being preserved. My Dad was in the RAF during WW2, and was a tailgunner on a Halifax but he was also involved with Lancasters during his career.

Reminds of a story a recently read about "the Dam Busters" - and the film It must have been the ultimate British postwar film.

I thought you'd been to Hendon when I saw the thumbnail on my blog. Stange how something so deadly can look so great. Crocodiles and snakes you can understand, but Lancaster's and Spitfires...

Nice shot and after treatment.

A bit of history captured. I'm glad that there are two that can still fly.

I've read about the Lancaster, so it was nice to see a picture of one. I think a ride up and down the runway in this plane would be fantastic.

Just spectacular! I like what you did with the filter, it's an interesting effect.

Mac: The Americans also liked girls on the front of their planes.
