Mac: Very neat and bringing in DW into the conteat was a good idea. I like the results of the rubbing.

I like Darla's grapefruit tree bark best. But you've got it for creativity. Love the bark rubbings.

I've not done any bark rubbings since I was a child. Or brass rubbings in churches etc. A difficult choice over the winner, as they are all good in their own unique way.

You'll have to tip me off for the next one.

I love to do rubbings....leaf....headstones, trees....very nice, Imac and (DW, too.)
I vote for Fishing Guy's header...for more than one reason.
I love the colors on the bark of the tree....and the colrs are 'echoed' in the feathery coat of the bird...very nicely captured nestled in the tree...a lovely photograph...so Fishing Guy gets my vote.

This is difficult and fun at the same time. I like Tom Wigley's header but I also like your unusual and very creative solution.

Ok, I've finally made up my mind! I hate to tell you this but my vote goes to Tom Wigley this time.

This is a hard one. I'm really impressed that you've included DW in your header, but my vote this week is going to Darla.

That's a very original and creative interpretation of tree bark !
I have tree bark in one part of our garden, that avoids to mow the grass in this place. good idea for lazy people !
