Art Gallery

This is an Art Gallery in St Ives Cornwall.
Many years ago - it used to be a Studio for many of the Artists in and around St Ives.
It has'nt been moderised, it still is in the same condition as it was in those years gone by,
as you can see.

As you walk in -----Just stand and look, can you not feel its history thoughout your body.

Just take a look at the floor, with all those paint splatters all around, can you just imagine--all the hard work, sweat, the highs and lows and frustrations of the Artists as they created their master pieces of Art.
The friendly banter, the auguments, and the many cups of tea, and maybe a bottle or two of wine - or beer.

I bet - this gallery could tell a tale or two.

I expect some very famous artists trod those boards over the years

I love the old blue door, I wonder how many masterpieces were born there.

Funny, it looks like my mess, but I don't remember going there to paint?!

It reminds me of Art school, our school was located in a building which stand up by miracle. It rained inside and the floor was full of paintings and the walls as well. The doors looked very similar to the one you show, but we all loved this place. Now the building is closed (too dangerous) and the school moved into a very modern building, all the charm is gone ! Fortunately they moved when I had left already.

It must have been a lively place - maybe more beer that tea?

That was a fun tour. If the gallery could speak, I would ask which pieces were its favorite.

The atmosphere must be very special there and I also wish I the building could tell a good story or two.

Why are artists so messy? At least digital photography is a clean medium. I bet your DW makes a bit of a mess sometimes with her creativity.

How long ago was it an artist's studio? Why has it remained untouched? So many questions...
