I have a feeling I have seen some of this before... ;-)

More seriously: It is interesting to see someone else's perception of what is after all common photos subject for the inhabitants. Well done!

Mac: What a neat town, neat name for the railcar.

I agree with RuneE. When Denise(Mrs Nesbitt) visited my island was a whole new island through her lens. Love the looking down image on the Funicular which seems to live up to it's name.

The Funicular Funicalee looks great fun(if you've got a head for heights).

Mac, you have a great talent which allows us to share your holiday - saved me money, told Mrs YB that if she wants to go on vaccation all she has to do is read your blog.

what a lovely series of shots stuart. i think riding on funiculars is a neat way to see the sites below and above...a different perspective. they've one in hong kong that i absolutely love to ride up and down on and of course the one in orvieto, italy is fun but way to short a ride.
i so enjoy your posts and this one is particularly interesting ;)

Bergen looks like a beautiful place, but I didn't realize how close the mountains were to the sea.

What is the funicular? Is it like a tram on a track that you road around on? What a big ship that is too.

Looks like you had a fantastic vacation.

Ah you took the funicular - we chose Ulriken instead - fabulous to look down on Bergen.
