To bring photos from my minds eye - to the public through the lens of my Nikon D90 ∧ D80
Lovely shot and words. The days are getting longer and soon she'll all be in the light - I'd half expect her to uncurl herself and stand up when that happens.
I Know how she feels.
"Nothing is more contradictory than a woman ...Women think with the heart,Age by emotion and wins by the love.Million living emotions about one dayand sends each one a unique look..." Beautiful post!Kind RegardsLéia
To me she looks like she is made out of chocolate - so if the sping sunshine gets too strong...
Nice shot. This Old Man is also waiting for the sunshine. :)
yes, her rest time is about over...
Your lady isn't the only one waiting for spring sunshine and warm weather. It's snowing here in Tennessee as I write this.
she is definitely an african lady, probably carved out of sand stone. i have a few small ones like her. gorgeous isn't she?
What a lovely statue, different. I often wish I could see these chunks of stone being carved into a beautiful work of art. Such talent using one's hands and seeing a piece come to life must be very rewarding.
She looks lonely without flowers to brighten her day!
Has she woken, yet? ;-9
She is beautiful; perfect representative for spring.
