by S. Mackinder (c) April 1994.
Who can explain the past, present, the future as well,
Are they lines that run along side by side parallel,
Could it be the atmospheric weather,
Which brings them to entwine together,
To create some strange phenomenon to appear,
Causing the spine to chill with fear,
Some folk would freeze on the spot and look agast,
When confronted with an apparition from the past,
Or - is it all in the mind that holds the key,
Should we unlock the minds door for everyone to see??.

Interesting poem.
Great picture.
Answer to the question.... GOD ....
That was a deep one. Now you are entering the realm of cosmology or theology or philosophy.
A picture to be proud of!
PS Suggested reading: "End of Eternity" By Isaac Asimov.
I guess this post is posted just today due to the great Stephen Hawking. I heard he is hospitalized today, and very very ill.
he said that there exist real time, and imaginary time ... he must have been inspired by Your "Parallels of Time" (1984)
Hawkings has much more to accomplish, I hope he will be back "on stage".
Great poem - something to ponder about. Love the photograph, perfect for the poem.
Mac: Nicely written with a great sky photo.
I really like your new header photo with the horse and the mallard.
Marvellous photo and poem, makes you think it really does. Great post!
lovely post fantastic photo!
:D
Brilliant work and imagery.
The poem is good, but the photo you put with it is perfect. My son is majoring in physics in college. There are no words to adequately describe Steven Hawking. I hope he recovers.
Or is it parallax in the camera's eye? Or maybe parallax in the mind's eye! Thoughtful post and great image! Stephen Hawking would be the one to answer this one.
Beautiful words by S. Mackinder, & a stunning capture by you Imac!!
Hope your week is as beautiful & as interesting as this post! :)

Great picture Imac.
This poem is very deep my friend, I see I was not the only one to make a 'Hawking' connection.
My mind is saying under lock and key.... there's stuff spinning around in there I don't care for. ;o)
A photographic poet now then are we? Great poem and photo. Is this going to be the first of many?
That was deep Mac.
Do you find you worry more as you get older - my mother would worry if she didn't have something to worry about.
Something cropped up yesterday afternoon, which if not getting me in a panic, had me running around in ever decreasing circles. I stopped long enough to ask myself "why worry?".
While we plan and conspire, in reality we we have very little if any control over our future.
There is a lot to speculate about in these few lines. There is dreaming and that, for some, is reality in the future. Interesting post.

Great capture and poem, imac!
Well, aren't you the clever one? Congrats on another POTD mention, too. x
Congrats with the mention at David's! Well deserved.
The mind is indeed a very mysterious thing.

Fantastic capture and love the prose.
And the title.
Congrats on POTD!
This makes two in one week, doesn't it Stewart? Congrats! Did you see we were side-by-side in the list? How fun was that.
This one really is a winner, Stewart.
