imac's Road Snow.
Over the last 2 days, UK has had its worst snow fall than in the last 18 years, bringing problems with it.............
Compared to other Countries, who have had lots and lots more, seem to cope a lot better than we do.

These are impressive photos Imac. You had a quite a snowfall. I've been keeping an eye on the weather reports over there. I remember walking home in a blizzard once with my Dad when I used to work in Torquay many, many years ago. We had to abandon the car with a lot of other abandoned cars. I still remember the feeling of relief when we practically fell into our house and Mum gave us a nice hot cuppa! Stay safe and stay warm.

The macros are wonderful! All of that snow really is beautiful though I don't know if you're thinking the same right now. I hope thinks lighten up for you all.

Your macros are exquisite -- I really like the blue in the icicle. I hope the snow is not causing you any continuing problems.

You got up close and personal with the snow and ice! These are some great images, especially the macros. I believe that dealing with snow is a learned experience. After a few mild winters, we forget. Also the older I get, the less I like to shovel anything. LOL!

Looks like MY world, but I know it's kind of rare in your neck of the woods. Love the blue icicle.

Where's your snowman, Stewart? I want. I want. It looks like the heavy kind of snow that would pack really well. I grew up in Michigan and when it snowed I used to make myself an igloo and I would sit inside and play all day. My dad would spray water over it so that it would freeze and last for a long time. We also used to make an ice rink in the yard. Thanks for the memories, Stewart. Beautiful micros.

Good Morning IMAC

Have been thinking of You everytime I have seen the weather on the British Island <3

How come everything that is natural beautiful also comes with human danger? Your photos are simply beautiful, as always, my friend.

(( hug ))

Wonderful pictures ! ice and snow is a good subject to photograph.
In Belgium we hadn't had so much snow in 7 years and up to - 15 or more since 20 years ! I can tell you we are not equipped either and with 3 snowflakes the whole traffic breaks down, airports included ! It's a mess ! That's why I hate snow in the city !

I think it's all a matter of what you're used to. The first snowfall of the year is always a mess here too, especially on the roads when motorists insist on driving like it's still summer.

Everything is so pretty in the snow. ;-)
