Looks to be a fair bit of algea on the water. I was following part of the Peak Forest canal last week and the towpath was composed of MUD - had to chuck my shoes in the bin when I got home - it was time for a new pair anyway.
I love to take that walk, such a beautiful surroundings for a walk.Happy Holidays.

That's a great walk along the water. The bridge is a Bridle Bridge, isn't it?! The caterpillar is also very beautiful! There are more windmills to come on my blog. I love them myself! wish you a great yuletide and a very happy New Year.
