My World (7)
My World - this week (as promised) is from Belvoir Castle - one of its Peacocks and shots from its grounds.Just 7 miles from Grantham.UK.(My corner of My World.
Oh, tut tut, bragging again with your castles and peacocking around as usual! Great post, the nearest thing in national trust houses we have here is a farmhouse less than 200 years old... Ah what it is living in the colonies...
I'm told peacocks make even better alarm systems than dogs. Apparently they set up a frightful noise when their territory is encroached. I suppose that's why royalty kept them around. Probably thought they were prettier than dogs too.
I've never been to a castle before, another reason why I'm dying to go to Europe, you guys have plenty of those. and you capture them amazingly!! MWT#3: Water Park
Wonderful Castle like all your other castles, which I always have loved! BTW St Nicholas is not our X-mas celebration. We also celebrate Christmas which is a more a religious feast in Church and a Christmas tree at home and we sing X-mas carols in the weeks before the 25th of December. We have four Advent Sundays in Church to prepare ourselves for X-mas just like all other western countries. St. Nicholas is just an extra event.

You live in such a pretty part of the world. I always enjoy visiting your blog. Thanks for sharing as always!
Beautiful shots. Peacock is a fan fave. I find that post processing you applied on one of the photos is very appealing.
