BROER SOM BINDER = BRIDGES BETWEEN

BROER SOM BINDER = BRIDGES BETWEEN. To see who's participating please visit my good friend Rune.

My Bridge this month is = The Bridge of Return.
This short story , is of no particular person that I know of - its only a thought that it may be true to someone.

I awoke and remembered, am I dead or am I dreaming, for I remembered I was in a hurry and put my foot down on the pedal a little more than i usually do, theres a bend and I tried to stear but to no avail, I crashed through this fence and hit this tree and I remember turning the car over and over, crash - bang - thump......
I awoke,--- There I was - standing on this bridge, all covered with trailing leaves and lots and lots of flowers, the smell was so beautiful, that I had to stand and take in the aroama, there was a lawn on one side of the bridge and on the other was a pool, little frogs were having a great time hopping from one plant to the others.----- I thought,, I must be dead, fore I remember crashing my car - and here I am, this MUST be Heaven, such a beautiful place, but where do I go from here? I look around and see a tent on the other side of the bridge, Now that must be where I get checked in(so to speak).

So I started to walk along the mowed lawn, between a variety of bushes and shrubs, and as I drew nearer I could see some chairs in the tent, as I got closer, i also noticed that there was 'nt any one around.I called out- no answer - I called again - no answer --

I stood, and waited, but no one came, am I late? or should I not be here, I turned and started to walk back th the wounderful bridge ------ Just then, there was a shout and someone was shaking me by the shoulder and asking if I was ok. There were 2 men in uniform, they were ambulance men, they checked me over and took me to Hospital, Later that day the Doctor came and said that I was ok - no broken bones and only a few bruises here and there.
They kept me in over night and was released the next morning
.

Had I died and gone to Heaven?? or was it a dream from a bang on the head, I will never know. Not until I meet my Maker when my time comes.

OH my...that was a story with so much joy and so sad to. Why is always the paradise found when we don't are here on the earth? Maybe together we can create a better place here where we are right now. Great story who started a lot of "brain thinking".:-)

My bridge is up to.

First: Welcome back!
Second a highly unusual story - a "near death experience" as a bridge. A bit scary, perhaps...

Oh that tent set up on the lawn. :) If I can't have one, I would love to be invited to sit under it for a meal or with friends and wine.

Your picture of the bridge is absolutely wonderful! I wish I had one like that near me that I could gaze at all day long. And the story too is exactly right. Great post!

I am very late in visiting because of my allergies which cause me to not see well because of swollen eyes but am glad I came!

I really enjoyed your story to accompany the photos and the bridge is a fine example for all of us one day. Beautiful photos too. Did you read about mine?
