Woods Walk One - Part 2

At the bottom of the valley, lies the NYMR(North Yorkshire Moors Railway)
Here's Richard taking a photo of the line, but wait whats this we hear Toot Toot, ah a train a train, all it is the railway men are checking out the line for when they open on Saturday, we will be on one of the trains on Saturday (but thats another tale to tell later on.

Its time to head back to the cabin for lunch.

Climbing up onto the path and follow the stone wall back to the Cabin.

I love these backroads shots I see on your blog and that of Wom Tigley's! It's these off-the-beaten-path places we never get to see when we visit England!

Not much green showing yet... but you're doing better than me, I have no green at all anywhere around.

Just the right kind of place for a walk Imac... I hope the going was easy... I tried a moorland walk last week looking for a Druids Alter.. the Quarry men ofold had built a small church on it.... he alter had stood the test of time but the old church was not coping to well.
Nice to see you had company as well. I look forward to more pictures from this fine area.

What a great place to walk, the place also looks like it is a bit swampy?
Would love to see it in the summer time.

So glad you're feeling better, Imac. These are some really outstanding pictures. The train looks like a toy.

I love the shots of the exposed trees and rocks. I also enjoy the shot of the train. Sounds like a nice little walk. What does it look like with more green?
