To bring photos from my minds eye - to the public through the lens of my Nikon D90 ∧ D80
Wood is a wonderful material, you can make so many things with it. Can you imagine a world without trees?
The last one looks a bit like "Take me to your Leader!" Novel idea. These photos are making me homesick!
Beautiful, iMac. First one is my favourite.Wood's great to photograph, but can we say the images are a bit, er, grainy?

That is some beautiful wood work. I love the wind turns.
I love all those subtle colour differences in the wood. The first one is my favourite, but I really like the third one, too.A.
Great post Imac.. loved Davids 'Grainy' comment. I worked in a wood yard and a joinery shop for quite some time. I love the smell and feel of wood. The scrap box was a great place to look though. When the lads were younger I made many of there toys for these scrap boxes. Also bird boxes and table, garden tubs and barrows all helped to bring the pennies in when the lads were young. I wish I had the incline to do some again, but try as I might that part of me as now gone.
Hey I have one of these. My son and one of his friends was making some of these a few years ago.
