Air - Sea Rescue Helicopter over Scarboro N.Y.

While we were at Scarboro for the day, we were sat in a cafe waiting for our lunch - when the Air-Sea rescue helicopter flew overhead, cause not missing out of a photo oppotunity, I rushed out and took a few shots.
I think it was only having a look and not really in a rescue bid.

Those things make a lot of noise so it must have been exciting.

Great shots! Looks awfully low and close! But I guess you have to be able to maneuver that way if you are a Rescue copter!

Hard to believe something that big can stay in the air. Love the capture

We have some of them over our the house from time to time. I envy you the pictures, but it must have been a noisy experience!

Flying in a helicopter is great fun. Gail & I have done it in Sydney & Dubai. If you get the opportunity, take it. You won't be disappointed.

Nice shots, imac. I especially like the way the chopper is partially framed by the masts in the top photo.
