Yorkshire Steam Post 2

Toot-Toot - ssshhhhhhhhhhhh, as the NYMR engine, with its train pulls into Goathland Ststion. Where the Engine and Train going to pickering Station is all ready in Goathland Station.
Here the Engine is taking on water. The Driver and Fireman stand chatting and watching being filled up with water, so they can get steam up.
Here we have 2 more NYMR Engines pulling into another Station .

Wonderful! Do these run often, or was this a one-off?

Love that first photo. It looks like I could just jump on. Reminds me of the movie, "The Polar Express". My computer is up and running again.

This makes me want to go on a "train" vacation! I would love to travel by train and see parts of the US I havne't seen before.
Of course, I doubt it would be a train as lovely as these.

Love the "looking down upon" shot!
Great perspective!
