Belton House Woods Walk 2

As we kicked through the autumn leaves, we come across Beltons Garden Giant Tree, we rest awhile here.
We now start to climb a little and come across the field of garlic, sniff and you can smell the garlic in the air mixed with the smell of the trees and nature itself.
on the flat we are about 3/4 of the way to the lake. We pass a group of deer, we skirt around for fear of scattering them. You will see Giant toadstools made of wood. Soon we will reach the lake-------------------- To be continued.

Wow, that is one big tree and I think the garlic is pretty in bloom but I don't think I'd care for the smell.

This is fun!! I would have skirted the deer, not that I would have been afraid of scaring them... I would have been afraid of THEM scaring me...LOL
