Victoria Park London

A little detour before we get to Victoria Park, we heard of a tree being struck by lightning, so we cycled over to have a butchers (look) to see what damage had been done -if any, we found the tree and here's a couple of photos to show.

IMAC, I love trees, so it hurts to see this one so damaged. Circle of life and all, eh?

But the canal trip! Oh my. I love the look of those barges(?)!! I only just recently read, from my grandparents' old collection, Coot Club, and cannot help but think of it when I see the photo of the barges(?) berthed along the way. Wonderful!

Thanks,
Wayne

Poor tree! Still, it looks like it will survive. Hope so, anyhow.
