Lights of Skegness 1

OK, Since we wont see any fireworks, hence no posts of Fireworks, I'm posting The Lights of Skegness, when we were there last night seeing The Searchers.

We had a grand meal at a resturant in Lumley rd, called the Windsor, followed by a walk along the main drag to see some of the lights. - then - well, you know THE SEARCHERS.

Nice photographs. The one picture of Ten Pins reminds me that there was a time when I used to set ten pins by hand for pennies a game. Gosh. That was a long time ago. And before that, when I was 9 years old, I had to get a social security card so I could set pins in a regular bowling alley. I could barely write my name and still carry the same social
security card around with me.

Love night shots with neon. I especially like the second one of the ride that looks like a star or a flower.

Far better that shop bought fireworks...
I've only been to Skeggy once, I can remember the RAF were flying jets about some would head right for the seafront then pull to one side or another... it looked like they were doing bomb runs.
