This photo of an elderly female Dragonfly was taken at (Woodies) Woodland Waters at Ancaster, Nr Grantham Lincolnshire.
She was resting on this rock and made no attempt to fly off "wow I said" to myself, as I inched(or centimetered lol) towards her, crouching down on my knees then leaned on the rock - then click, she was on record.
