I guess it's time for another poem of mine.
I wrote this last year when my Mother passed away after suffering with Alzheimer's disease.

MUM
FAIRWELL BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.
Family and dancing was your happiness in life,
Tho there were times of toil and strife,
As you fought and came smiling through,
Your circle of friends just grew.
Your last years you suffered with pain in mind,
Then at the end a Heavenly light did shine,
God mercifully had granted your Earthly pain to cease,
Now you can join your friends and family and be t peace.

It's good to remember your Mum. She was a lovely lady with a great sense of humour, even though I didn't know her before she was sick. We shared a lot of laughs and dances at the community centre. I'm sure she's dancing in Heaven.
