HEADER CHALLENGE 13-02-13 = SOLID COLOUR by Craver.

My music is special for Valentines day - dedicated to my Soul Mate and Loving Wife Julie.

This weeks choice is from Craver  - SOLID COLOUR.

My Header

As tomorrow is Valentines Day - 14th Feb,  My SOLID COLOUR  is a loving message to my Darling Wife and Soulmate Julie.
This was taken a year ago in Nottinghams Castle grounds.
There was this huge heart shape balloon tethered to the ground, and if you donated money to charity you could have a message shone upon it for 5 minutes

The timing for this choice Solid Colour happened just at the right moment to co-insde with this special date of LOVE.

My Post Pics

Another photo for LOVE and SOLID COLOUR - on one of our cruises we saw this bridge and lovers were putting these locks on the bridge to show their love for each other.

For this SOLID COLOUR = let me take you back in time - to the early 1900s, when there were few motor cars about - with transport of Horse and cart  also  the new Trams.

Here we see the Solid Colour of an old style Red Post Box.

Here we have the SOLID COLOUR of a Mecanopsis - A Blue Himalayan Poppy.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY  to all the loving couples out in Blogland

Please go visit the other HEADBANGERS on my sidebar - near my shield and see their take on Cravers SOLID COLOUR.

My choice for next week 20-02-13 is = THE 2 OF US.

GOOD LUCK

  6. You're such a romantic! I like the idea of lovers' locks on the bridge. I wonder how such a thing gets started, so that it catches on. I found that whole idea to be very amusing.

  15. Mac, I hope you are having a wonderful day with your sweetheart. Mine has just begun and I will be spending the day working (sigh):( I love the balloon, I have been hiding caramel treats around the house all week for hubby to find. Maybe we will go to lunch today. Anyway, Happy Valentines day to you and your sweetie!
