HEADER CHALLENGE 02-01-13 = LET IT SNOW by Craver

This weeks Challenge comes from Craver vii, LET IT SNOW.

My music is also called -Let it Snow - sung by Dean Martin.
Have a listen as you go through my Post.

My Header.

3 Years ago - we had (what we called) a snow storm, no where near as my friends across the Big Pond, but never the less, it snowed all night with winds.
My Header shows the next morning, still a flurry of snow coming down and folk are out clearing their drive ways of snow.

My posts.

The night before my Header, still snowing after the snow storm but before the night long of snow falling.  1st Photo from our kitchen window, and 2nd Photo our back garden - LET IT SNOW.

The rest of my post Pics are of around Grantham
2 days after the snow storm.

River Witham, in Dysart Park Grantham.

The sun coming out, and still snow on a bush.

Kids out having fun in the snow.

The Post Must get through    --- Postmen on their bikes collecting the mail from the post boxes.

Just thought I would add this photo in my post.
Steam n Snow.

Well - thats it folks - thats my version of LET IT SNOW by Cravervii.

To see what the other Headbangers have posted --- go to my side bar - near my shield and click on their names and enjoy.

GOOD LUCK & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

Next week Sandy is back with us and her theme 09-01-13 - is = LINEN.

  1. I'm always happy to see snowy photos.
We don't get any snow, so to see snow in my friends' posts/blogs is a happy time for me.
I love your shots. I especially love the one of the child playing in the snow. What a wonderful expression on the face!
Hugs and happy days to you and to your family.

  2. If the ground turns white, you have snow! After that its just a matter of how many shovel strokes to clear a path. Love the river shot with the snow stuck to the side of the trees!

  3. You got the year off to a good start with this header, but I'm glad you got that snow storm and not us! It's been about three years since we've had a big snow storm -- Betsy is not happy, but I'm not complaining.

  7. Your header is absolutely wonderful!
I think snow is so romantic, but I imagine it's really cold there, I would prefer stay inside home!
    Thanks for these beautiful pictures!
