Today it looks very special an interesting to us, but what work conditions in these mines ! the poor people. BTW I didn't know that there were such an important mine in Cornwall. Blogging makes intelligent !
How interesting, I enjoyed these photos very much. Funny, but in a related post, in a round-a-bout way to tin mining, I have pre-posted something which will appear on Wednesday that you might want to take a look at ;)

ReplyDeleteMarvellous shots!
ReplyDeleteI like both versions of this photo. The mining structure is fascinating and you captured it very well.
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated and love the way you captured the mine in B&W. I cannot imagine the process. You continue to educate. I'm in awe.

love them both. versions.
Great photos.
ReplyDeleteWhen work is done, call it a museum! It is fascinating to see how the work was done back then.
ReplyDeleteThe photo in monochrome works better for me. I think industrial buildings look better in black and white.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful compositions, Stewart.
ReplyDeleteWow, I had a lot of catching up to do. Love the b&w retro one here and love the hills, sheep, water, and flower ones above.
