Yes---that is a 'blast from the past' for sure...

Someone on another blog was just talking about a young gal in a department store telling her that she (the young gal) didn't know what an oil lamp was... Mercy Me!!!!

I remember using a pump like this when we visited my grandfather many years ago. You did a great job with this photo.

Yes, I remember this as a wee kid and at the old homestead my mother grew up at. I have two of these, one at the cabin as cabin decor, another tall one in the barn waiting for a bucket full of water for the birds, maybe next spring. We woke to 18F degrees...cold, ice on the birdbath.

Your perspective shots are amazing, beautiful, fantastic.
