Lol ! I had the same idea I spent the whole afternoon warm and dry laying on the sofa and took pictures ! It was a pity that it started to rain, it was so well organized and beautiful !
Don't think you would have got such a good view if you had been standing by the Thames as you did from the comfort of your armchair. And your Nikon stayed dry too.
