Birthday Treat at Woodall Spa

Part one of my Birthday Treat at Woodall Spa - Hows this for a Hotter shoe shop - the smallest shoe shop in Britain.

These are REAL cakes  -- Sophisticake = www.sophistcake.co.uk  - made at Woodall Spa.

This grave stone caught my eye, life after death?

Memorial to those that gave  their lives during The Dambusters raid,

Our 2 great friends Gail and Christopher - (also blogging buddies - and Headbangers too) who shared the weekend with Julie and I at Woodall Spa for my Birthday treat.

We all stayed at The Village Limits Motel.
Comfort with home cooked food with local grown and produced food together with a friendly smile and service from all staff.

More to follow.

  8. It looks as if you had a great birthday celebration. The cakes you showed are amazing. I wonder if they taste as good as they look? I read about 617 Squadron many years ago, so I found the memorial to be very interesting.
