I guess he was being annoyed by a horsefly
My husband once had a gray horse. His name was lightning! Took him to a horse show and put him in the last race. He took the lead right at the start. BUT he was the last one across the finish line. Never have been fond of gray horses! true story
I love him, I wish I could scratch his ears for him, or his neck, or his nose :)
