1st day at sea was a little rough - but the 2nd day we sailed into force 8 and we were rocking and rolling quite a lot. DW and our friend LB had to take sickness pills, altho they wernt sick, they felt queasy, but we rode it out.
We went to the top of the ship to the Crows Nest, wow, we were certainly rocking and rolling up there, the Ladies had to go back to the cabins for a lie down, lol.
I think sea pics are one of your specialities! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are terrific ! How furious a sea can look !
ReplyDeleteI can imagine that it was hard to walk on the boat ! I once returned to our cabin as if I was completely boozed ! and I swear I wasn't !
You have got some great ones here - well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely crashing waves there! Is that a hint of a rainbow in the second? I try to sleep on boats if they're rolling a lot :)
ReplyDeleteI remember that song well. Loved it. Brought back lots of memories when we were still trying to figure out where all our babies were coming from we thought maybe he had found our place.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would enjoy actually sailing on these seas, but your photos are amazing. I'm glad you didn't get seasick and were able to get these marvelous pictures.
ReplyDeleteYour talent with a camera is outstanding....and like ju-north, I think that your photos of the sea are among your very best.
ReplyDeleteThese are great, Stewart. I see the power of the sea in each shot...and the beauty and majesty brought forth through them, as well.
Woo---rough seas, huh??? Love that one which has a 'rainbow' in the left corner!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you all took a seasick pill... ha
Betsy

Those are perfect shots of the sea showing off for you. I might like to see if I can tolerate the tossing about in the crow's nest some day.
