1st & 2nd Sunsets in Aldeborgh

Setting sun over the boats on the river

Big sky sunset

Slowly - as the sun sets.

Warm sky lights the gulls way home

Sun reflecting on a tyre.

Warmly as the night decends.

Last of the sun reflecting

2nd night as the sun sets

Reflecting on our cottage bedroom window.

When the sun has gone, the street lamps shows us the way home.

You have a variety of sunsets. Lots more than we have here. Here, where we live, the sunsets are rather dramatic and are over before you know it. I guess it is because we are flat land and have no hills or buildings to block the views.

I have always thought about living in a woods or forest or a place where the land is covered with trees of all kinds. I would have to move to West Virginia, where my mother was born to find a lifestyle like that. Once you live here it is hard to go back to that style. Love your photos and thanks for your visits.

That is awesome. I love sunsets --and taking photos at that time of the day... The reflections and colors are terrific. Thanks!!!

Seems being by the sea is the best place for sunset photos.

Gorgeous! A lovely series of photos. I am happy to be visiting again after having my English friend's company for the last two weeks. She is sorely missed, but as things return to normal I am having fun catching up on all your posts.

These are beautiful photographs, Stewart. I never tire of seeing sunsets and/or sunrises.
I especially love the one of your cottage window with the reflections in the panes.
Sunsets are spectacular to me.... Beautiful!!!
Hugs,
Jackie

I really like your photo of that second sunset. The reflections in the glass are very neat as well.
