Not seen one of those for a while now - yesterday afternoon we had some heavy rain - I just caught the flash of lightning out the corner of my eye and it was followed immediately by what must have been the loudest clap of thunder I've ever heard. It was just the one though and an hour later the sun was shining - there was probably a rainbow somewhere but I didn't go looking for it.
Aren't you the lucky one! Great moment....hard to find these...and you got it. I love the sky, too. I tend to love to look at and want to photograph the sky more and more. The clouds (even storm clouds) are beautiful!!

I'm a sucker for rainbows, and this was a beauty :-)
It looks like a polarizer, meant to bring sunlight and color inside, while keeping the gray wetness out.
