Jessie, my MIL from Canvey Island. She loves her Garden and her Cruises, nobody can say - she didnt enjoy life when she could.
Jessie would visit us around 3 times a year - plus Christmas time, she would enjoy a healthy breakfast, go to Downtown - spend her money on skirts and tops for her cruises - "suit cases" full to take home.Sigh!! Jessie also really enjoyed her soaps on the TV - Plus the sub titles on as well Double Sigh !!!!( thats was the time for me to go into my little cupboard with the puter) she would also love a glass of Sherry with her dinner - or a glass of wine.
Jessie belonged several clubs and would also enjoy entering Flower Arranging competitions - and mostly coming away with awards for them too, also helping to decorate the Church with flowers.
Jessie loves to dress real smart - and "always" wore a hat - er - you should see the hat boxes stacked high -really loves her jewellery too - she is well liked by all and has many friends - loves to be in the centre of everything happening. I call her "Queen Sheba"
To be Continued.

It sounds like a flair for art runs in the family. I can see where your wife got her talent. Lovely lady.

She's a character and a half, as my dad would say. What a great lady.

ReplyDeleteSmokey Robinson! Now there's a name you don't often see. Though I love his more up-beat songs, I must admit. Extra tears I like to avoid if possible1 :)

ReplyDeleteOnce a lady, always a lady. I love the hats. Reminds me of being proper,. which I'm not very good at, so I don't wear a hat! :-D
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like living life to its fullest, in one's own way, is there?
