Double Warning

Hi my blogging friends,
This is a double Warning.

When, my puter got infected, this nasty person had got into our Bank Account and spent £250 with Microsoft Singapore, needless to say, we have rang our bank and cancelled our card and it has been reported to Fraud Squad.

The 2nd part is that they also got into my email addresses and DWs Brothers wife had an email to merge her facebook and info with mine  ?? - Please check your emails from my address and if it looks fishy - please check with me first.

Its a good job that I got my puter cleared and cleaned - so be warned my friends.

It shows how careful we need to be - watch out for the scantily clad women hoping to follow one on twitter.

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope that you have cleared it all up. As far as I can see you are clear with me :-)

I'm sorry to hear about the double trouble you've had with hackers accessing your computer. I hope everything has been cleared up and that you are now secure.

Oh dear! Last year someone spent two hundred on movie tickets online on my card number! who sees that many movies?! But what I think is interesting is that the thieves do try to spend reasonable amounts on stolen card numbers so that the card owner won't notice. The theives should notice the skin flint they are liftin' the card number from I say. It pays to carefully go over your cc statements all the time.

Thanks for the warning. I'm sorry you had to go through all that. Sad to say it's par for the course when we get on the Internet. I once had a pop-up box that I tried to delete - hit the x as you normally would on the top right-hand corner. Unfortunately doing that actually set the virus rampant through my e-mail addresses and they sent everyone an e-mail saying I had recommended some product or other, also going through everything on my computer. What I should have done was do a hard shut-down to get rid of it, the alternative was a nightmare. That was a long time ago but I am still very, very wary. On another occasion sometime later I got a call from our credit card company asking us if we were trying to buy two airline tickets in some far off country, no that wasn't us. We got our card changed after that too. Your header photo is a real beauty. Love how you have captured the steam from the train - if I close my eyes I can almost hear the whistle blow.

Hope you get your money back, as you'll need it to buy my Christmas present with!

Be careful too of promised riches in those frozen Nigerian bank accounts.

Any idea how they accessed your computer? Had you opened an attachment or downloaded any file?
