Tis I to choose the theme this week, and I have choosen COLLAGES a collection of your photos - in one photo.
My Header this week is a Collage of Dorothy (the bear) when she visited Grantham, from America.
Dorothy was posted from a school in America to travel the World visiting folk - who sent photos -of her back to the school kids - so they could track Dorothy on her travels.Dorothy was travelling for a year and should have arrived home in January this year.2010 - It sure dont seem long ago - 2009 when she visited us here in the UK.
My post of 4 collages are as colourful as you can get - I reckon anyway, lol. 2 from the sky and 2 from the Earth.
Please visit my Colleagues Collages (Headbangers) and please leave your comments.
You will find these wonderful folk on my side bar - just under my Header.
I seem to recognize the guy in the last collage ;-) He gets my vote!

ReplyDeleteYOU get my vote :D
I like the Dorothy collage, but that last "Yours Truly" is my favorite of these sets. I am grateful for the cheer you spread. Peace to you and your DW.
ReplyDeleteI like your story collage you've used in your header this week imac. Looks like the bear had a great day out. Looks like I'm not the only one posting early either.
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of collages to save space on my different blogs. Except of course on my photo blog. Picasa is great for that.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, all. I like the bear. If she could talk! Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteYour rainbows are gorgeous.
Yours truly is a handsome devil, too.
They are ALL great, Stewart... I love Dorothy--but my fav collage is the rainbows... OH--I also love the flowers..... WOW!!!!

I guess I will celebrate "Thanksgiving Day" tomorrow with family here at home. It is getting colder here and we may have some snow tonight.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the post today.
Your collage of Dorothy is very good. I like your sunsets and roses collages, but I'm very impressed with that handsome man in the last collage. All are very well done.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I almost forgive you for this assignment this week, the recording of Teddy Bears' Picnic did it for me. I haven't heard that in forever, my father had that recording in his collection and I loved to play it when he said I could. So you can well imagine that I absolutely love your header and the story board of a fuzzy little bear's trip abroad. I very much like the others in your post.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the assignment, for now I can do many more of them, like I have been wanting to only with little time to explore. But forced exploring!, it works wonders!
Oh Dorothy is such a lucky friend!
ReplyDeleteIt's sweet, I mean about the idea!
I loved your header!
hugs
Léia
Excellent collages mac ! Great and varied collections. Those sunsets especially are ... wow!
ReplyDeleteMy class had a visiting duck from Boston one year. I don't remember the duck's name. While he was here we had a real duck in the classroom for a day. A day I would not repeat. You don't really want to host a duck in a classroom of first graders--for a variety of reasons.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have met the gent in the last collage, and the lovely lady holding Dorothy in the header, and they are a delight to spend a day with.
