Header Challenge - this weeks choice by Gailsman is "Sound Creations".
Dont know how the other Headbangers got on with this theme, but I found this the hardest one of all.
Still.
I have come up with a fair Header for this weeks challenge.
My Header is from East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens from Norfolk
The photo is of a down pour of rain
and just below is my Sound to go with it.
The music is by the American Group called
The Cascades - the song - Rhyrhm of the Rain
which was a hit in 1962.
Click on the Cascades below my header and listen to them.
My Post - sorry but no sounds but you will know the sounds and I bet they will be heard in your head.
post 1
Dripping Tap
Post 2
The old Telephone box with the telephone ringing
Post 3
Nearly gone but Never forgotten
The Steam engine and what a sound it is.
Post 4
Our Max - who can resist
the gurgles from a baby
Dont forget to listen to the Cascades
and please dont forget to visit the Headbagers
on their take of
SOUND CREATIONS.
and leave your comments please.
You will find them on my side bar just under my Header.

Some nice shots (images) here. You gave me some ideas to try out myself. Thanks.
Max is a sweet and precious baby, great shot of him and I thought all your photos were superb, as was the video. Love the rainy header too. We have a very rainy day in Virginia today.
Very nice ones, Stewart.... I think my favorite is the dripping water...... BUT--they are all good.

Mac: Love it, you tugged on some heart strings with the song from my first year in college. How I love to hear the rain at the fountain with this neat song. Kudos my friend.
I love that song! NOW I will be singing it for the rest of the day! Thanks?????? LOL, the pics were wonderful as well. Love that baby! and I can hear the telephone ringing too. It is so fun to see the pics and then imagine all the sounds! GREAT JOB!
These are all wonderful pictures associated with sounds. I really like the sound of a steam engine, and you've shown a very sleek one.
You are looking youthful in that last photo. These are fine shots here, and I like that song. There is a 50's & 60's McDonalds in Chicago that I used to go to. The oldies remind me of that place a lot. Good times.
I so remember the song :) Your first photo, the drip, well know how hard to capture ... totally awesome.
All I saw was Max... not really.. but when his picture came up, I forgot the others. I LOVE babies.
Love that header mac, and the song to go with it (listened a couple of times, nice version)- of course I was just a young lad when that came out ... ;-)
And great shots for your theme - love that drip drip drip from the bottle and the others were also great.
Nice collection of old time sounds you found. And the sound of the rain is a soothing sound (when unaccompied by thunder and lightning). I tought you maight have used a St Ives shot with the nautical "sound".
I liked dripping water too. The sound of rain hitting a tin roof is unforgettable.
My fave is the dripping water.
Bonjour dear Imac!
I like a lot this idea about sound creations, mainly your idea about this "soundtrack"with your post, thanks for the video! ;)
Your header is fantastic, I also love the baby!

A good selection of photos to describe the theme I'd set.
Now where's my umbrella...
That baby is gorgeous. Just beautiful. All of these are amazing.
Got here eventually only to get soaked by your header. Nice interpretation and congrats on the joint Gold. Will have to go for a walk around the rest of your posts I missed (as long as my internet holds up)and I don't have a brolly so it looks like it will be a wet walk.
