Manchester to Liverpool Shipping Canal

A 6hr Ferry ride from Salford Quays to Liverpool.

But before we go under Trafford Bridge--

















Look to your left - Yup - thats right -
Its the home of Manchester United
Old Trafford Road Stadium.

  3. Woooo Stewart... I've never heard of a SIX hour ferry ride... that was like a daytime cruise!!!! You captured some great pictures though... Love the one when you were going under the Trafford Road Bridge... Great shot.

  6. I've heard about this trip and most folk say it is lovely - would love to try it sometime but probably won't.

    It isn't I believe a 6-hours cruise but a 2 hour cruise followed by 3 hours free time in Liverpool and a 1 hour return bus ride - or you can do it in reverse from Liverpool to Salford/Manchester.

    Looking forward to your other photos from it.

  7. Gerald, Sorry but you are wrong about the time aboard the ferry.
    It isnt a 2 hr trip as you say but is really a 6 hour cruise down the canal and for us no time in Liverpool as our coach met us in Liverpool.
