Stewart, So sorry to have missed commenting on so many of your past entries way back to the foxgloves...and the outstanding photography continues. I cannot get enough. What a challenging river...wouldn't That be a trick in a raft or a canoe. BlessYourHeart and LetTheGoodTimesRoll
Hi Imac thanks for your visit. We enjoyed visits to Durham, when our daughter lived there. In the minds eye applies every where. Thanks for the lovely post.
Gorgeous picture, Imac ! I was just thinking this morning that I needed to get away from it all... and now you just made me feel like I had been there. ~B
Mac: Now that one is hard on the boat. It must cause a portage.
ReplyDeleteI like how the houses are right on the bank. It looks like it could be difficult to navigate in a boat though.

I forgot to tell you, we practically share birthdays, mine is 5 days from yours. Hope you had a great one.

Great shot as usual, I love how at the far end of the weir the water doesn't seem to flow over to the lower section it just stops.
ReplyDeleteFabulous picture... I'd want to get in a boat and take a ride!!!!!

Our Durham is not much like yours, so it's great to make the introduction! Thanks, Imac.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful photo. I like both the bridge and the river.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot mac! 't would be a pleasure to go sailing or canoeing on that river - very scenic.
