All obout =The Birds and bees

I'm gonna tell yer a Stoooory,

We have had Mr and Mrs Blackbird making their nest in one of our bushes,
of course, they knew all about the Birds and Bees story - so they ended up with 3 eggs.

they were very busy taking it in turns sitting while the other went off for a snack.
The time came when these nice little eggs hatched, well! were'nt they busy little bees, to-ing and fro-ing
feeding their little ones, a worm here, a bug there -
here a bug there a bug every where a bug- bug,
Oh, that enuf of the silly-ness,lol.

This Friday -- came the day these baby Blackbirds flew their nest, and one of them
landed in our wheelbarrow for a wee rest and was waiting for his Mom or Dad to come,
well, what do I do - but grab my trusty D80 and 135 lens and trot off to the bottom of our garden,,,

EEEE by gum, what do I find ----

This lil one resting with a bee on his head.
Hence -the story --

Nice shots. That bee is lucky. If the bird was older it would not be there.

Mac: I must say that was a neat capture.
BTW: Who are those teams playing World Cup now?

Oh ---what a cute story, Stewart....And it truly is a story about the Birds and the Bees..... When the birds first fledge, it's hard knowing where they'll go for awhile. Landing in the wheelbarrow was probably a good choice for that little blackbird...
