ReplyDeleteI think I recognize one of those guys from a recent family reunion!
ReplyDeleteHoly smoly! In other words don't move? They are cool looking though.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I remember them climbing all over the car we were in. Oh my! that was soooo many years ago!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Sunny :)
P.S. I'm totally innocent in regards to knickers! LOL
wow a little unsettling to be so close to them! I think I would be afraid that they would jump on me and bite me! They can be a little dangerous can't they?
ReplyDeleteThey are ADORABLE...and I love the photos you took of them. You can capture the moment!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the next photos!!!
Hugs,
Jackie
Wow, I've never been around monkeys that weren't in a zoo. Hope you followed all the rules and enjoyed snapping lots of shots of our relatives.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of these apes, but I haven't seen many pictures of them. Your photos are absolutely wonderful, but I'm glad you behaved yourself in their presence.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness, Mac.... I would be scared to even move!!!!! They are photogenic though--easier to photograph than my birds I'll bet... ha
ReplyDeleteBetsy
Great expressions on your little 'friends' faces. Nice captures.
ReplyDeleteSort of like life at home with teenagers, except if you put hands in pockets, they expect money! The last one looks unhappy. Great sunrise over the rock!
ReplyDeleteYesterday I realized that it was a long time I didn't hear of you, I had a bronchitis and just did a minimum of blogging. Now I know what happened. You lucky guy it must have been a wonderful trip ! I like monkeys they are so close to us humans, lol !
ReplyDeleteI take it they haven't discovered the fun they could have if they pinched a few cameras? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the expression of the one in the third shot - Mr Innocent!
I thought it was a mirror at first.. ;o)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
What fun! I have a story for you about those monkeys. In his navy days Gregg was on the Rock of Gibralter with a tour guide. Guide said in answer to one question, "No the monkeys are used to humans and quite safe" this as one ripped the front pocket off his shirt and made off with whatever treat was inside! Loved these photos and so glad to see you back.
ReplyDeleteWild or not - you captured their faces and their individual facial expressions well and the result is a joy to see.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't leave the windows open if you are in a hotel--but of course, you did not have to worry about that on shipboard.
ReplyDeleteLMAO - they are AWESOME!!! That last one, his facial expression is just priceless. It has me giggling uncontrollably! Great job.
