Back to our cruise around the med - next port of call was Florence in Italy.
Well, we woke up and looked out - rain rain rain - and it rained all day, but we enjoyed a tour around.
We saw the Ponte Vecchio - and the iconic statue of David by the famous Michelangelo. to be seen here in my next posts.

Rain. How surprising! NOT. I remember quite a bit of rain in the year I lived in Florence.
ReplyDeleteWe just had rain camping on a holiday weekend. A sign in the visitor center up the mountain said "Weather: Today: rain and snow. Tomorrow: snow and rain."
Wow - is that a monastery on top of the mountain ? Talk about getting away from it all! *pant pant* Nice shot.
