Is this what we used to call a Gray Goose? I have been "flopped" by them here and chased too when I was a kid. Being flopped by those big wings is like being kicked in the shins by a bully.
oh, those geese...they sure can be nasty just when you think they are coming in to say a nice hello, they will wack you with their wings, pinch your behind or leg with that beak and fly away laughing all the way to the barn., just ask me. Ouch
