These photos of the fireworks are absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure of the significance of November 5, however. Is it to celebrate the capture of Guy Fawkes before he could blow up Parliment?
I was thinking of going to see a bonfire tonight, but Gail isn't very well today, so have kept her company. Maybe there will be something on Saturday night that's worth going to. Did Julie let you have any sparklers this year?
I've been a bit mixed up this year - at home in NI we just have fireworks at Halloween, and none on Guy Fawke's. Then here, I didn't see any on Halloween, and lots on the 5th! I'd forgotten things were the other way around and so missed getting any firework shots at all. But yours have made up for it :)
Wow!! These are fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI remember Guy Fawkes Day, my Grandparents alway had a huge bonfire. Thanks for the memory.
ReplyDeleteFabulous fireworks!
