Archaeological Dig at Belton House.

An Archaeological Dig is taking place at Belton House at the moment in search of the Lost Garden.
DW and I visited on Sunday and took a few photo's of the progress that they have made so far.
Some interesting items have also been found
Coins,Bones, Pottery ect.
The team also have found the old pathway and a stone raised flower bed.

  1. Archaeological digs are absolutely fascinating. We enjoyed watching archaeologists working in Jamestown when we were there. I look forward to your follow-up pictures.

  7. Reminds me of the archaeology dig I was part of a zillion years ago. They are probably digging up evidence of me from the 70s now.
