You covered a great deal of London while I was away from my computer, so I'm playing catch-up here. Your hotel was certainly grand, but I think I would have to eat and drink somewhere else! I like both your capture of Big Ben and your header. What a view!
I wonder if these mod' buildings will still be standing in 100 years. My first thought was all the window cleaning, but I believe now they have self-cleaning glass!!! Lovely photo's
I like seeing pictuires from the city's of the world... but I detest being in a city.... I get hot and bothered in our small town... give me trees and green fields.. :O)
Thanks so much for stopping by. The last time my family (both my parents are gone now)was in London was 1958. Hard to believe it's been so many year ago. My Dad was born in the Ruislip Manor area of London. Sunny :)
Did they run out of stone? Certainly not the same as I remember London. I have been reading opinions (newspapers and blogs) about the modern architecture. Seems to be getting mixed reactions. I like both styles, but not necessarily side by side. Great pictures of your visit!

Glorious weather, by the looks of it! I love your new header too, lol :D
Looking at your wonderful pictures, I wondered what my Dad would think of his old birthplace.
A lot of changes since I was last there.
Sunny :)

Mac: Cool capture of the glass building.
Is this somewhere near the docklands? The architecture is so unique!
God bless you!

I enjoyed my visit to your photo blog. You are a fantastic photographer!
I like the composition on that last one, Stuart. It works really well.
