Oh wow, that new header photo is great and this photo here is so interesting. I am enjoying all your London pictures also. It has been years and years since I remember going up to London for the weekend with friends. I think I was 18. Much later, whenever we flew into Heathrow we didn't really hang around much, as we were anxious to get on the train down to Devon to see my family.
I forgot to enlarge the first time. All those wonderful flowers!!! Really must remember to click on the photos to see all the details. What a beautiful old building amongst all those high-rises.
Great to save the Albert amidst the modern structures. I must say that your header photo of the London Eye is one of the best I've seen of that sightseeing ride.
Nice, Stuart. I like the way the lighting isolates the old from the new, helping to highlight the contrast between them visually and 'metaphorically'. Sweet!
The tall glass buildings are an eyesore and take away from the beauty of the Albert.
ReplyDeleteBut you captured it as best as anyone could.
I'm quitting posting for now (after this one that went up today) due to lack of time but I'll still visit from time to time.
What a wonderful building and an excellent picture.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
