I'm glad these are just photo's, I don't think I could go up in this 'eye' for real. Heights don't do me any good these days!! Super shots though, I can appreciate that. Thanks for the 'trip'.
When I went on the Eye, I was surprised how close Buckingham Palace was to the River. You also appreciation how the Thames makes a 90 deg. turn between Westminster & Waterloo bridges

The trip with London Eye is a tour well worth taking. You pictures shows it off very well (of course!).
PS I was in London almost a year ago and enjoyed the experience than - not taking it is almost like going to Paris and not going to the top of the Eiffel tower..
OK now Granny is going to think I am totally off my rocker hehehe, I commented on her blog think it was your blog...hehehe, and what I said to her that I meant to say to you is...I am planning a trip to Holland in 3 years...(the big 60) and for sure I will have to take a right turn and head over to London just to do this POD thing. Incredible, even though I am terrified of heights, I have to do this....or die doing it! NAH...
