My mate and I booked a Helicoptor ride in Eidfjord - 20 minutes for £165 BUT I reckon its well worth it.
Most of these pics have slight reflection tho, as shot through the windows, well you didnt expext me ton sit on the prop -did you?.
Take off.
Up up and away
To be continued.
Now that would have been an exciting ride! Brilliant photos again, what a beautiful country!
ReplyDeleteYou are braver man than me - Gunga-Mac!
ReplyDeleteAnd photographer too, in the process.
Way up high. You got a couple of nice pictures but I wonder what else you got from up there. Sick?
ReplyDeleteI never liked the jerky motion caused by the rotors.
There is a wall paper paste used as an advertisement for making sure you don't fall off moving air craft.
ReplyDeleteLovely views Imac. Glad to see you about again.
Hi Imac...
ReplyDeleteI took a trip in one of these about 30 years ago and it is something I'll never forget.. back then it was £5 for the trip... mine was over Blackpool... but I would have liked this one of yours a million times better.
Sorry I missed your call today... I have spent most of the afternoon and early evening in bed.. ha! I'm feeling much better for the rest but still a tad groggy.. I'll call you at the weekend and catch up then my friend.
Hope you enjoyed your flight. Gail and I have had two helicopter flights so far. One over Sydney and one in Dubai. They are expensive, but a lot of fun, and what an experience.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fjords, but I couldn't stomach the ride.
ReplyDeleteThat's a funny comment about the reflection. Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteIt was a smooth ride? Really! I'll take your word for it because I'm too chicken to ride in a helicopter. ;-)
ReplyDeleteImagine the panoramic shot you could have taken if you HAD sat on the prop!!
