  2. I have a feeling I have seen some of this before... ;-)

More seriously: It is interesting to see someone else's perception of what is after all common photos subject for the inhabitants. Well done!

  4. I agree with RuneE. When Denise(Mrs Nesbitt) visited my island was a whole new island through her lens. Love the looking down image on the Funicular which seems to live up to it's name.

  5. The Funicular Funicalee looks great fun(if you've got a head for heights).

Mac, you have a great talent which allows us to share your holiday - saved me money, told Mrs YB that if she wants to go on vaccation all she has to do is read your blog.

  9. what a lovely series of shots stuart. i think riding on funiculars is a neat way to see the sites below and above...a different perspective. they've one in hong kong that i absolutely love to ride up and down on and of course the one in orvieto, italy is fun but way to short a ride.
i so enjoy your posts and this one is particularly interesting ;)

  12. Bergen looks like a beautiful place, but I didn't realize how close the mountains were to the sea.

  13. What is the funicular? Is it like a tram on a track that you road around on? What a big ship that is too.
