May Bank Holiday Monday Market at Denton.

After a sunny Saturday and Sunday, as usual Bank Holiday Monday at Denton Market repeated itself for another year with rain, but am pleased to report it did'nt keep folk away who was out in force looking for that bargain. I happened to catch sight of this fellow who has the owls on show walking and looking for his bargain too.
Looking to bag a bargain, well here is just the stall for you.
If you are feeling lucky and like chocolate, they have
all colours and all slogans - Bags at only £3.50.

Every thing what everyone wants is here, I bet this one is just up your street??
Even a 30miles an hour speed limit sign, just suit you my friend, hanging in your loo - maybe??

What would a street market be without a food stall?
Beefburger - Hotdog with onions - Bacon roll, maybe, all washed down with a tea or coffee or if you are like me - a pint, the Pubs just up the street.

To be continued.
Dont forget to click to enlarge and enjoy.

  3. Sorry it rained on you in Denton. Hastings managed to stay dry, I believe the seafront was a mass of bodies.
Thank goodness we stayed home during the invasion!
    Lovely snaps.

  4. Sorry I haven't been by for a couple of days.
Some great photographs, the owl being my favourite. I am sure it brightened a typical Bank Holiday Monday?

  5. I might find some use for that 30-sign next time I'm out driving...

  6. Imac, if you have never had a Chicago style hot dog, you are missing a really good thing. A nice, cold brew is ideal for those outdoor days, but I usually go with root beer instead.

  7. Mac: What a neat trip and you end up at the food stand.

  8. Nottingham stayed fairly dry over the weekend, but didn't go anywhere, as I thought a few things would be cancelled. There was a 1940's display on close to the castle, which from the photos of my Flickr gang looked good fun.
